Wilma Casal is a dancer and choreographer from Berlin. She danced and toured internationally with Dokumentartheater Berlin, Artnouveau 21 Dancers, Akasha Crew, Bolschoi Compania Eschschloraque, German Television Ballet, Brouqade Records, and Katja Keya Richter Company. She graduated from Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance and State Ballet School of Berlin. Ms Casal is a certified Gyrotonic Instructor and medical trained Personal Trainer. She is based in New York and honored to work with stunning dancers and artists.
Breckyn Drescher began her movement exploration in Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated Cum Laude with a BFA from SUNY Purchase, and also studied abroad at Taipei National University for the Arts in Taiwan, where she performed with Focus Dance Company. As a Fellowship Awardee, she has participated in, as well as been Rehearsal Assistant to several reconstructions of works with the Merce Cunningham Trust and former company dancers, and with Robert Swinston at the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine in Angers, France. She has had the pleasure of working with choreographers Stuart Singer, Ori Flomin, Emmanuelle Huynh, Xia Hua, Ashleigh Leite, Gabrielle Lamb, Nelly Van Bommel, Rosalind Newman, Wei Chia, Caitlin Cullen, AJ Sharp, Jenny Rocha, Carly Conder, Lindy Fines/GREYZONE, at Queen of the Night and Dances of Vice. She joined Hyperspace Dance in 2016.
Hannah Garner , a New Jersey native, began training in high school under the instruction of Sharron Miller. She continued on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Purchase, earning a BFA in Performance and Composition and a minor in Arts Management. Hannah received the Adopt A Dancer Scholarship, Outstanding Senior Award, and the Study Abroad Scholarship to spend a semester at Beijing Dance Academy. She has performed work by Adam Barruch, Aszure Barton, Larry Keigwin, Rosalind Newman, Claire Porter, and Nicole Wolcott. Since graduation Hannah has performed at the New York City Center, the 92Y, New York Live Arts, Triskelion Arts, REVERBdance Festival, and the Baruch Performing Arts Center. She has shown choreography at Dixon Place, Triskelion Arts, Chen Dance Center, Socrates Summer Suite Festival, the Wassaic Project, and in the NY Fringe Festival. Hannah has performed with Kathleen Helm & Dancers, Hyperspace Dance, Rovaco Dance Company, and served as understudy and assistant to Doug Varone on his production of ‘Dido and Aeneas’ at City Center. She is currently presenting her choreography in New York City and dancing for Sue Bernhard and Megan Williams.
Nicole Lemelin grew up on a horse farm in Central Connecticut. She began her ballet and modern training at Starship Dance Theater under the direction of Joyce DiLauro. While at Starship she performed at The International Festival of Art and Ideas and The Rebound Dance Festival. Upon graduating she went on to attend SUNY Purchase College where she had the opportunity to perform works by Adam Barruch, John Hegginbothum, Doug Varone, Rosalind Newman, Stefanie Nelson and others. Nicole has also attended several workshops including, David Dorfman Dance, Dance Italia, Doug Varone’s DEVICES and The American Dance Festival. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015 with a BFA in Dance Performance. Since graduating Nicole has performed at New York Live Arts, The 92Y, and festivals including DUMBO Dance Festival, Spark Dance Forum and Reverb Dance Festival. In 2016 Nicole traveled to Sri Lanka to complete an international tour with Sea Legs Dance. She currently resides in NYC and has been fortunate to dance with Hyperspace Dance, Kathleen Helm and Dancers and ShawnBibleCO. As a dance maker Nicole has presented work at SUNY Purchase, The Dragon’s Egg in CT and CHI Movement Arts Center in Philadelphia.
Asako Miyahira is a dancer/choreographer/movement specialist from Japan. She completed the Professional Trainee / Teacher Trainee Program at Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, where she performed Graham repertoire as well as working with national and international choreographers. Along her dance education, she has music education in classical piano, and holds Bachelor of Arts in music. In 2012, Asako established her choreographic project "Project M". She was selected as the final candidate for the Research Cycle at P.A.R.T.S in Brussels in 2014. Her recent work has been presented by Doug Varone’s DEVICES at Gibney Dance Center and Hunter Dance Company at Danny Kaye Playhouse. Additionally, she is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner.
Bo Pang is from Nanjing, China. She is currently a dancer with the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company. She earned a MFA degree in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and earned a BA in Ballet from the Beijing Dance Academy in China. Since coming to the US, Bo has performed choreography by Mark Morris, Merce Cunningham, Deborah Jowitt, Alex Ketley, and Annie Wang. While in China, Bo’s classical performances included Swan Lake at the Chinese National Center for the Performing Arts, the Don Quixote at the Beijing Tian Qiao Theater, and The Nutcracker with the National Ballet of China at the Beijing Poly Theater. Bo also performed in the Silver Bell Dance in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games directed by Yimo Zhang and Weiya Chen.
